Resolutions for 2007

Since my resolutions for 2006 were pretty much fulfilled, I shall continue to write my 2007 resolutions down here. Only this time I’m less confident, although optimistic should I say, as the resolutions involve many elements that are out of my control, and equally depend on a great deal of luck and good timing… So here I go.

  1. Status quo is not an option, I feel that it’s time to take a sharp turn in my career, in order to make progress. There are a few possibilities out there, I really hope that the opportunity for a good consulting job at Shanghai could be realized this year. I’m hoping that my ten years of IT experience at North America could be a valuable asset in the new IT market of China. As a second option, a new consulting job at Montreal would be nice too.
  2. Financially, I should try to spend less money than last year, and make some smart investment.
  3. Maintain a healthy lifestyle: healthy food, nice wine, sleep well and physical activities, etc.
  4. I should travel to a new place that I haven’t been before, to enlarge my horizon and enrich my personal culture, as long as this doesn’t get into conflict with the above items.
  5. I should try a new kind of photos, totally different from what I have done last year, to improve my creativity and keep this hobby more mind-refreshing.

All the above resolutions are pretty realistic, if only I can catch the opportunity when it presents. Hmmm, I’m already eager for the end of year 2007, to see how much I will have done!
