Shanghai Tan

I have this feeling that MacDonald’s will eventually open ten thousand restaurants in China and India, and will close most of their restaurants in Western countries. Fast food has been kinda bad mouthed so much since a decade, just like cigarette et Cola-Cola. They’re having a bad image that is hard to change, especially for those who can afford more heathy food and have time to eat properly. So when I see this big banner at the entrance of a local McDo here, I was a bit surprise… What? A VIP card for this kind of restaurant? This would be a big big joke at USA and Canada!

It’s been 3 days in a row that we get snow/rain/slush. I was surprise to see white snow on roof top and trees. I came all the way here to escape the hardship of Canadian Winter (except snowboard) and here I see this shitty time again! The newspaper said that this is a record snow fall over the past 17 years. Seventeen long years no such snow and it has to be this year while I’m here. Unbelievable!
